Data transfer between the client and Ziksatey is carried out by different methods. These are adopted depending on the client’s requirement and convenience. We advice the following methods of data transfer:
- Virtual private network (VPN) is a computer network in which the links between nodes are formed over logical connections or virtual circuits between hosts of a larger network, such as the Internet. The Link Layer protocols of the virtual network are said to be tunneled through the transport network.
In VPN transfer, we establish a secure connection directly with the clients work system. This enables Ziksatey to update the book keeping records directly from your office/work computer on which the transaction records are stored. This also gives us the option of directly updating your records by accessing your bookkeeping software like Quickbooks, Peachtree, Quicken, Tally etc., such that every morning when you return to work your books are already processed.
- File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to exchange and manipulate files over an Internet Protocol computer network, such as the Internet. FTP is built on client-server architecture and utilizes separate control and data connections between the client and server applications. Client applications were originally interactive command-line tools with standardized command syntax, but graphical user interfaces have been developed for all desktop operating systems in use today. FTP is also often used as an application component to automatically transfer files for program internal functions. FTP can be used with user-based password authentication or with anonymous user access.
The client can establish a connection from any remote location to our server through a highly secured username and password. This enables the client to transfer confidential data directly to ZIksatey’s secure server following which our high level professional retrieve the data for processing. The same mode of secure data transfer is adopted in sending the processed data back to the client.
- Data transfer through Scanning
Clients also have the option of scanning the documents using their in-house scanners and sending the e-copies directly to Ziksatey. This is adopted by clients who record most of their transactions on hard copies.
